4.1 Service Overview
Delancy provides an AI Receptionist system designed to answer calls, respond to queries, and make bookings on behalf of clients.
This service is delivered on a subscription basis and includes initial setup and monthly use.
4.2 Payments
All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
We charge a one-time setup fee and a recurring monthly subscription fee.
Delancy is not VAT registered, and all prices shown are final.
4.3 Contract and Cancellation
There are no long-term contracts.
You can cancel at any time, and your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing month.
No partial or pro-rata refunds are provided.
Your service will continue until the billing cycle ends, after which it will terminate automatically.
4.4 Data Handling
Delancy only processes data as necessary to deliver the AI Receptionist service.
We do not permanently store call data, recordings, or transcripts.
All customer-related data is deleted at the end of the cancellation month once the subscription terminates.
We do not publicly disclose our technical infrastructure; however, all systems used adhere to strict UK data protection standards.
4.5 Ownership of Data
Clients retain full ownership of their AI configurations, scripts, and custom voice settings during an active subscription.
Once the service is cancelled, all such data will be securely deleted and cannot be retrieved.
4.6 Service Availability
We aim to provide a highly reliable and continuous service. However, uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.
Delancy will not be liable for temporary service interruptions or technical issues beyond our control.
4.7 Prohibited Use
You must not use the AI Receptionist for unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading purposes.
Any misuse may result in immediate suspension or termination of the service.
4.8 Accuracy of AI Responses
While the AI Receptionist is trained for accuracy, Delancy does not guarantee that every response or booking will be error-free.
You acknowledge that human oversight remains advisable for critical or sensitive communications.
5. Liability and Indemnity
Delancy’s total liability for any claim related to the website or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for:
Loss of profit, revenue, business, or data
Missed bookings, opportunities, or calls
Indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service
You agree to indemnify and hold Delancy harmless against any claims, damages, or costs resulting from your misuse of the AI Receptionist or breach of these Terms.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all non-public business, technical, and customer information confidential.
Delancy is under no obligation to disclose its internal technical architecture or infrastructure.
7. Termination and Data Deletion
You may cancel at any time, with service continuing until the end of your billing month.
Once terminated, all data linked to your account will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data policy.
We will confirm termination and deletion by email.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms periodically.
Any updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
